カメラアクセサリーの設計事務所、muk camera service。現在は3Dプリンターを利用した「muk 3Dプリントプロジェクト」を中心に、カメラやレンズに関する製品を設計・製作しています。
カメラやレンズのためのものづくり
mukでは、カメラやレンズを実際に使う中で必要になったものや、市販されていないものを考え、設計・製作しています。
特にマウントアダプターについては、古いレンズや特殊なマウントを持つレンズを、現在のデジタルカメラで使用するための製品を製作しています。
「このレンズを今のカメラで使いたいけれど、対応するアダプターがない」
というような場合に、レンズやカメラの構造を確認しながら、どのような方法で使用できるかを考えています。
muk 3Dプリントプロジェクト
3Dプリントを利用することで、大量生産には向かない少量の製品や、古いカメラ・レンズに関するマウントアダプター、部品、アクセサリーなどを製作することができます。
muk 3Dプリントプロジェクトでは、基本的に在庫を持たず、ご注文をいただいてから製作しています。
オールドレンズや、現在では対応する製品が少ないレアマウント・特殊マウントのレンズについても、現代のデジタルカメラで使用するためのマウントアダプターを設計・製作しています。
市販のマウントアダプターが見つからない古いレンズや特殊なレンズについても、実物の構造や寸法を確認し、3Dプリントなどを利用して使用する方法を考えています。
既存の製品では対応できない場合には、お客様からレンズをお預かりし、そのレンズに合わせて1点だけ製品を設計・製作することもあります。
規格化されたマウントを持たないレンズについても、実物を確認し、構造や寸法を調べたうえで、製作できる方法を考えています。

カメラやレンズを使っているうちに、「このレンズを別のカメラで使えないか」「こういう部品があれば使いやすいのに」と考えることがあり、必要なものを自分で作るようになりました。
そうした経験から、現在はカメラやレンズに関する製品の設計・試作・製作を行っています。

About muk camera service
muk camera service is a camera accessory design studio. Today, we mainly focus on the “muk 3D Print Project,” designing and producing accessories and parts for cameras and lenses using 3D printing.
Making things for cameras and lenses
We design and make products based on the things we need when using cameras and lenses, including products that are not readily available on the market.
We particularly make mount adapters for vintage lenses, rare mounts and unusual lens mounts, allowing older and uncommon lenses to be used with modern digital cameras.
When a suitable mount adapter is not available, we examine the lens and camera and consider how the lens can be used with another camera.
muk 3D Print Project
3D printing allows us to produce small quantities of products that would not be practical for mass production, including mount adapters, parts, and accessories for older cameras and lenses.
We generally do not keep products in stock. Products are made after an order is received.
We also make one-off products for individual lenses. When an existing mount adapter cannot be used, we may ask the customer to send us the lens so that we can design and make a product specifically for that particular lens.
We also work with lenses that do not have a standardized mount. We examine the actual lens, its construction and dimensions, and consider whether a suitable product can be designed and made using 3D printing or other methods.
Munenobu Kosuge
I am the founder and designer behind muk camera service.
While using cameras and lenses, I often found myself thinking, “Is there a way to use this lens with another camera?” or “It would be easier to use if there were a part like this.”
I began making the things I needed myself. Based on this experience, I now design, prototype and produce products for cameras and lenses.
